BizSoc were delighted to end what has been a fantastic year at the NUIG Society Awards on March 27th. The society won Best Overall Society as well as Best Online Presence and Best Large Publication for their magazine, The Business Review.
The Society held a record number of events this year, with 39 in 24 weeks and increased membership too 2,400 students. This year also saw the introduction of many new concepts and events by the society, such as the Inaugural NUIG BizSoc Apprentice, Fantasy Stock Exchange Competition, Free Studend Grinds, introduction of the BizSoc Membership & Discount Card, Vilunteering Day. Traditional BizSoc events such as The Commerce Ball were also brought to a new level, with top UK Act Rizzle Kicks headlining the event in January.
The Society hopes to build on this year's success for an even better 2012/2013.
