NUI Galway is celebrating July in style this year with 36 festival events on campus. The Societies Office has just launched a new website here which lists all the on campus events and its links with all the Galway Festivals. There are many new theatre productions by our students, staff and alumni plus music, dance, literature and exhibitions featuring guests and home-grown talent. See the full programme here
The Young Artist trail is an outdoor exhibition running from Eglington Street to NUI Galway to create a physical link with the city and the campus and features Galway children’s drawings based on their view
of festivals in Galway.
Societies are also running children’s theatre days from July
2nd – 6th which includes entry to two children’s shows and a drama
workshop and is on from 11.30am – 4pm. The full day costs €22 per
child, book for 5 children one gets in free. The two children’s shows,
which can also be attended separately, are part of the Colours fringe
