Welcome to Cancer soc-- the COVID-19 edition!
Coming off one of our most successful years, our aim is to yet again raise funds for a variety of organizations in order to help the fight against cancer! Such organizations include but are not limited to the Irish Cancer Society as well as the National Breast Cancer Research Institute, each having received some share of the 7,000 euros raised last year.
We host a series of charitable fundraisers throughout the year to meet exactly these goals. Our most famous examples include University of Galway annual Relay for Life as well as the 'Box in Pink' event-- participants undergo 8 weeks of legitimate boxing training to fight their mates in an actual ring at Galway's own Galmont hotel.
